The Shepherd is a lovely soft and casual skirt from Merchant & Mills.
A pleated A-line skirt with slanted pockets, side button fastenings and pleats for fullness. Soft and floaty in linen, or smart and hardy in cotton twill. Can be made lined or unlined.
Skill level: Intermediate
There are 2 multi-size options available:
- a multi-size paper pattern including sizes 6-18.
- a multi-size paper pattern including sizes 18-28.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Suggested fabrics: Linen, Cotton Poplin, Cotton Voile, Cotton Sanded Twill, Hemp blends, Tencel/linen, Needlecord, 4 – 8oz denim, lightweight wool, Indian handlooms (if narrow you may have to piece).
You will also need:
- Matching Thread
- 8 x 15mm buttons
- 35cm Interfacing
