Scanfil Organic Cotton Sewing Threads - now in 300 yard spools
We have been selling Scanfil Organic Cotton sewing threads pretty much from when we first opened. We love using them for their quality and their mindful features towards our planet.
We are pleased to announce that we are now transitioning to their bigger spools, which means better value for you.
We started by selling Scanfil Organic Cotton Sewing Thread in their 100m/110yd spools. Just recently, Scanfil launched the range in 300yd/274m spools, adding in new colours to their collection.
The 100m spools will continue to be sold until we expire our stock, after which; only the new 300yd spools will be available.
Eventually we be stocking all 65 colours, offering a versatile foundation for quilting, dressmaking and decorative stitching.
(The original colours are still available, albeit with different names.)
Made from Extra Long Staple Pima cotton grown without chemical pesticides, the threads meeting stringent requirements ensuring every stage of production meets high environmental and social criteria. The fibres are mercerised, dyed and finished using non-toxic processes, resulting in smooth, dependable performance and a naturally soft, elegant finish.
Produced in the EU to exceptional quality standards and presented on traditional wooden spools, the range reflects the commitment of Scanfil Threads to sustainable, earth-friendly craftsmanship.
