Collection: IKAT

Ikat is a unique resist-dyeing technique used in many world cultures. Bundles of yarn are bound, and areas are covered with a dye-resistant material such as wax, to create a desired pattern when dyed. Once dyed, these yarns are wound onto the loom. This produces a multitude of beautiful complex fabric patterns, with many embracing the blurred aesthetic caused by the separate warp and weft yarns.
