Fabrics and Notions:
View A - Barn Coat: medium to heavy weight non-stretch wovens with structure, such as canvas, twill, denim, corduroy, or wool.
View B - Quilted Jacket: (for a quick and easy make, choose a pre-quilted fabric or a substantial jacquard, brocade, or similarly beefy fabric that holds its shape without a batting layer.)
To create a quilted jacket:
Outer and inner layer: light- to midweight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, lawn, voile, chambray and broadcloth, or linen. Drapey fabrics are not recommended.
