From Maison Fauve, The TRANSAT dress is the perfect summer piece for lounging by the water.
Easy and quick to sew, it does not lack charm. The bust is constructed with a nice pleat on the shoulders, the neckline is embellished by a front and back V neck (bra friendly!) and it has a nice slit in the middle front that brings sophistication to the piece. TRANSAT is very comfortable to wear with its smooth line and belted waistband.
SEWING LEVEL:
Beginner/Intermediate. the technical aspects are the assembly of the bust with the yokes of the shoulders using the Burrito method, and the gathers.
CHOICE OF FABRIC:
Light-weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less hold depending on the desired finish. Viscose, Tencel lyocell, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. A fluid fabric will give a supple fall, a fabric with a little hold will bring more volume.
