Candy Cotton is a tightly woven fabric, with a silky soft feel, durable woven structure, in between a Poplin and a Lawn. The cotton is softer than a Poplin as it is woven with finer yarns. It is not crisp as a Poplin, and has lovely a fluid drape. Buttery soft like a Cotton Lawn but not sheer.
Organic Candy Cotton is a lightweight fabric suitable for blouses and dresses for both children and adults alike. Perfect for shirts and shirtdresses that need details such as gatherings, that can hold its structure without being too rigid.
The supplier has certifications meaning this fabric was made using no pesticides, colourants or toxic materials. Produced with strict waste management, and with better circumstances for the workers.
Also STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, this fabric has been tested to ensure there are no harmful substances present.
