TAUKO Magazine Issue No.15 warmly invites you to explore the theme of 'Crafting Roots'.

TAUKO No.15 explores the roots of sewing, blending nostalgic memories with the endless possibilities of modern tutorials and online learning. This summer issue is filled with beautifully designed dresses, trousers, and shirts, each reflecting the unique journey of its creator and the inspirations that first brought them to sewing.

How do you learn to sew? It’s a question that sparks countless friendships in sewing circles. Whether it’s tracing Burda patterns, repurposing vintage designs, matching nightgowns made from checkered fabric, or learning from a grandmother’s knitted socks and an auntie’s handmade coat - our sewing stories shape who we are as makers.

The issue includes paper patterns and step-by-step instructions for all designs, which are available in 9 sizes ranging from a 31"(78cm) bust to a 57.5"(146cm) bust.

SEWING PATTERN DESIGNERS:
Nicole Göttler, Tringa Osmani, Monica Patel, Laurie Stefanizzi, Cris Wood, Alexandra Vrolijk, Rumer Ajifu, Marcia Lois Riddington, Gowri Paary, Jen Byrne.
