Violette is a blouse with a box pleat on the back with a 3 button placket. Its line is curved but not tight, it has chest darts, the round neckline is slightly indented.
Violette has 3/4 sleeves and the sleeve head is gathered.
An image shows a version with a piping on the back yoke line, but a simple seam is of course possible.
CHOICE OF FABRIC:
Cotton, cotton voile, viscose, lace, crepe, silk etc...
SUPPLIES REQUIRED:
- You will need 1m60 of fabric for sizes 34 to 46 or 2m30 for 48 to 56
- 60 cm of piping
- 3 buttons of 11 mm
- 40cm fusible interfacing
SEWING LEVEL:
Beginner/Intermediate. Violette can be a bit tricky for beginners because of its buttonholes, but you can also choose to use snaps.
